Graduated with a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), Diadema campus. She is currently an active FAPESP PhD student in the Postgraduate Program in Chemical Biology (PPGBQ) at LaBiORG (Bio-Organic Chemistry Laboratory - Otto Richard Gottlieb) at UNIFESP/Diadema. She has an affinity for the areas of organic chemistry and natural products chemistry, with an emphasis on microbial natural products from Penicillium. She is developing projects with multidisciplinary tools integrating analysis via LC-MS/MS, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR), microbiology, chemical dereplication, biological activity tests and physical-chemical analysis on Langmuir membranes under the guidance and co-supervision respectively of the excellent professors Lívia Soman de Medeiros and Thiago Andre Moura Veiga.
