Abstract
The project focuses primarily on the use of 1-D-iodoglucal in transformations involving carbonylative coupling reactions with a focus on obtaining new amidoglucals. It is also intended, when possible, to evaluate the biological activity of the prepared compounds (e.g., antifungal, anticancer, and anti-inflammatory activity).
