Bachelor in Biological Sciences (PUCRS, 2018), Masters in Ecology and Evolution (PUCRS, 2020), Licentiate in Biological Sciences (2021), PhD in Ecology and Evolution (PUCRS, 2024) with a one-year internship at the Butantan Institute (SP-Brazil). Currently, he is a TT4-FAPESP fellow working on the treatment of digitized images using micro-CT at the Butantan Institute. He develops projects focusing on the morphology, taxonomy, and evolution of current groups, with an emphasis on snakes. He has over 10 years of experience in building and segmenting three-dimensional models generated by computed tomography, as well as in geometric morphometrics and comparative phylogenetic methods. His main project aims to study the effects of diet and habitat on patterns of morphological changes in the skull throughout the development of neotropical vipers from the genus Bothrops (Viperidae: Crotalinae), as well as to understand the processes that led to miniaturization in various insular and continental species of this group.
