Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Santa Maria (1991), Master in Cellular and Structural Biology from the State University of Campinas (1994) and PhD in Pathology from the University of São Paulo (1998), with a sandwich scholarship at the University of Osaka, Japan ( 1995-1996). He is Full Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Tissue Biology, Institute of Biology, State University of Campinas. In the field of scientific research, teaching and extension, he works in the areas of: Teaching Embryology, Teaching in the Health Area and Bone Biology Applied to Implantology.
