Graduated in Chemical Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2013), concluded the Masters degree in Environmental Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2016), and concluded Doctorate in Environmental Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (2019). Winner of CAPES-Brazil Grand Thesis Award 2020, as best DSc thesis of the previous year in Brazil on Engineering, Exact and Earth Sciences, Environmental Science and Multidiisciplinary Fields. Currently works as a professor at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Has experience in process engineering, with emphasis in the sectors of OilGas, Petrochemicals, Biofuels, and Industrial Gases. Works mainly with research lines involving chemical process modeling, simulation and optimization. The main application subjects has been air separation and oxyfuel processes, power generation, processing of biogas and CO2-rich raw natural gas, supersonic separators, capture of CO2 and H2S through chemical and physical absorption, biomass thermochemical conversion, biorefineries, and CO2 chemical conversion. Currently, also coordinates the scolarship program PRH17/ANP - a program of ANP-Brazil for specialization in Environmental Engineering for Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels Industry.
