Birthplace: Brazil

Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Genetics and Biotechnology from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF-MG). Bachelor's degrees in Biological Sciences Teaching (2017) and Biological Sciences Research (2016) from the same institution. Extensive experience in translational research, with expertise in cell culture, tissue bioengineering, skin tissue regeneration, nanobiotechnology, physicochemical characterization, biomaterials, cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, and preclinical studies. Throughout her academic and professional career, she has participated in interdisciplinary projects in collaboration with national and international institutions, such as EMBRAPA, the Experimental Animal Studies Laboratory (LEEA) at the Hemocenter of USP-Ribeirão Preto, and the European Community NanoReg project, following OECD protocols for nanotoxicity testing. Experienced in preparing technical reports, research proposals, and scientific articles. Author of 10 publications in international journals with selective editorial policies and high impact factors in the fields of biomaterials and nanotechnology, and over 30 presentations at scientific conferences, some of which received awards. Awarded first place in the Adas Tech Women Entrepreneurship Call, promoted by CRITT-UFJF. Recently completed the course "Ethical Principles and Animal Handling in Research" offered by ICB-USP.
