Ph.D. in Sciences from the University of São Paulo, specializing in Entomology. Currently, she is a member of the Pollintech startup team, which focuses on bee pollination for commercial crops such as coffee. Her doctoral research explored the reproductive potential and neuroanatomical characteristics of social insects. Previously, during her Master's degree in Sciences, also at the University of São Paulo, she investigated behavioral processes involved in intraspecific communication and the role of mediator compounds in these interactions, using stingless bees as a model. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia, where she conducted studies on the management of stingless bees for pollinating plants cultivated in greenhouses. In addition to her academic pursuits, she has been actively involved in extension projects aimed at public educational institutions, employing bees as a didactic tool to promote scientific understanding.
