He is currently full professor at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Has experience in Chemistry, focusing on Chemical Kinetic and Catalyzes, acting on the following subjects: hidrodessulfurização, gasolina de pirólise, modelagem cinética, hidrotratamento and metanol.
