Birthplace: Brazil

Visiting postdoctoral researcher at the Hasson Lab, Princeton Neuroscience Institute (PNI), Princeton University, supported by a FAPESP fellowship (ongoing). Ph.D. in Neurology/Neurosciences from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), with a doctoral research internship (sandwich Ph.D.) at the Brain and Creativity Institute, directed by Prof. Dr. António Damásio (2017).My research is situated in the field of neuroscience, with a focus on natural and artificial language, individual and collective narratives, aimed at improving our understanding of brain functioning, particularly in the context of epilepsy. I investigate, in particular, how illness narratives can be analyzed through qualitative and quantitative methods, using predictive and automated computational models. This line of inquiry began during my Masters in Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (USP, 2007), and is closely connected to my academic background in Languages (B.A. 2000, Teaching License 2001, USP) and Social Communication (PUC-SP, 2002).In addition to my academic career, I work in the fields of innovation, digital education, and human development in corporate environments, and hold a postgraduate specialization in E-learning Management and Innovation from USP (2015). In this area, I lead the design and implementation of technology-based training programs, the use of active learning methodologies, and the analysis of how Artificial Intelligence (AI) may impact the future of work, the healthcare sector, and lifelong professional education.
