Graduated at Engenharia Mecânica from Universidade Federal do Ceará (1985), Master's degree at Material and Metallurgical Engineering from Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1989) and ph.d. at Material and Metallurgical Engineering from Departamento de Engenharia de Materiais (1994). Has experience in Material and Metallurgical Engineering, focusing on Physical Properties of Metals and Leagues, acting on the following subjects: monitoramento de corrosão, análise de porosidade, recuperação de metais pesados, tratamento de efluentes galvânicos and reatores eletroquímicos.
