Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (2009), with a master's degree (2012) and a doctorate (2014) from the Graduate Program in Chemical Engineering at the same institution. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Engineering and Technology at the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid Region (UFERSA) and in the Soil and Water Management Program at the same institution, primarily teaching courses related to the following areas: Thermodynamics, Unit Operations, Petroleum, and Biofuels. He develops research and technological development projects in the following fields: evaluation of promising raw materials for energy purposes, formulations of new (bio)fuels, assessment of promising processes for biofuel production, application of by-products from biofuel production processes, and measurement and modeling of thermophysical properties of fuel systems. He has extensive experience with the following programming languages: FORTRAN, Python, and VBA/Excel. He serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals and as an ad hoc consultant for funding agencies. He is also the coordinator of the Low-Carbon Economy Research Center at UFERSA. Additionally, he has experience in coordinating research and technological development projects funded by funding agencies and companies and is currently the coordinator of the Human Resources Program of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels (PRH-ANP) at UFERSA.
