Having graduated with a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo in 2000, I achieved both a Master's and PhD in Basic and Applied Immunology, completing the doctoral studies in 2007. In 2021, I completed a postdoctoral Biochemistry and Molecular Biology fellowship at the University of Cambridge, UK. I currently serve as a full professor in the Department of General Biology at the Federal University of Viçosa, focusing primarily on immunology, virology, and parasitology. My research interests include the production of biomolecules, developing vaccines and diagnostic tests, and assessing immunological profiles in host-parasite interactions, reflecting a strong commitment to advancing knowledge and innovation at the intersection of biology and human and animal health.
