Kristtopher K. Coelho is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at the Department of Informatics (DPI) at the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). He is currently working on data security and privacy for body area networks and the Internet of Healthcare Things (IoHT). The research background comprises the evaluation and development of solutions to ensure the privacy of sensitive data through k-anonymity-based anonymization. In parallel, it also comprises the evaluation and development of tools for biometric authentication combined with the use of Machine Learning techniques to ensure data security and privacy. Aims also comprise evaluating the practical impact of the algorithms on power consumption and hardware resources for wearable devices. Additionally, study an alternative channel secure (the skin) to transmit sensitive data such as cryptography keys. In this application scenario, we can provide more security and solve the management problem of secret key cryptographic algorithms. My research background also involves the development of low-cost electronic systems to transfer using the ionic environment. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
