Raul Guilherme Batista Mendes

Graduated in Physics from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2010), he became a Master of Science in the Materials Physics and Chemistry program at the Federal University of São João Del Rei (2014), working with the synthesis of intermetallic compounds and crystallographic characterizations and magnetic at low temperatures. He became a doctor of sciences through the same program, FQMat - UFSJ (2019), working with resolutions of spin models in tubular nanostructures, through approximate methods, rigorous results and Monte Carlo simulations. In his post-doctoral internship at IF-USP he has studied frustrated magnetic systems using pyrochlore oxides, carrying out solid state syntheses and the sol-gel method and structural characterizations by X-ray diffraction and magnetic characterizations by dc and ac magnetization at up to 0.05 K.He has a professional relationship with UFSJ as a technician in the physics laboratories of the Department of Natural Sciences (DCNat - UFSJ), working in teaching and with crystallographic characterizations by XRD.
