In this PhD project, the terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) technique with ultra-wide bandwidth (1 to 40 meV) will be employed to obtain the spectral dependence of the complex optical conductivity (real and imaginary parts) of advanced materials in both steady-state and transient regimes (pump-probe).
