He holds a Bachelor's degree (2015) and a Master's degree (2017) in Physics from the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI) and a Ph.D. (2021) in Physics from the University of Brasília (UnB). He is currently a FAPESP postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Chemistry of UNESP Araraquara, where he investigates the application of the Hubbard model for the development of density functionals aimed at strongly correlated systems. He has extensive experience in Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations, with an emphasis on computational materials simulation. Additionally, he has solid knowledge of Solid-State Physics and Quantum Theories and conducts research focused on the study of new materials for renewable energies, with a focus on photovoltaic materials, hydrogen, and catalysis.
