Hello! My name is Maria Carolina and I am a Peruvian scientist currently living in Brazil. I earned a bachelor's and a teaching degree in Biology from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. I am currently a master's student in the Graduate Program in Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of São Paulo (Ribeirão Preto campus).My research focus is primarily in biotechnology and, to a lesser extent, synthetic biology, with applications in bioremediation, medicine, and agriculture. However, I do not limit myself to these areas and am always eager to explore and learn about other fields of scientific research.
