Dr. Thiago B. Murari is the Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Management and Industrial Technology (GETEC) and a permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Computational Modeling and Industrial Technology (MCTI) at the SENAI CIMATEC University Center. He is the Vice Director of the Brazilian Center for Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI), known as PRAIA - Truly Applied Research in Artificial Intelligence. He is also the Vice Coordinator of the Institute of Science, Innovation, and Technology of the state of Bahia for Industry 4.0. He is a researcher in topics related to Innovation, Industry 4.0, Digital Transformation, Complex Systems, Mobility, and Sustainability. He leads the Research Group at CNPq - Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Virtual Worlds for Innovation in Industry. He worked as an engineering analyst at Ford Motor Company for 18 years, where he was responsible for the development and design of vehicle interior components for global platforms. Since 2006, he has held various positions within the Digital Innovation group. Thiago received his Ph.D. in Computational Modeling and Industrial Technology from the SENAI CIMATEC University Center.
