Elizabete Pellegrini Garcia

I am a researcher in the field of Sociology of Law, with an academic background that includes a master's and a doctorate in Political Science from the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and an ongoing postdoctoral fellowship at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). My research focuses on topics such as access to justice and legal professions, with an emphasis on state administration of conflicts and the informalization of justice. In my doctoral thesis, I examined systemic family constellations in law, analyzing their implications and applications in the legal context.Additionally, I am a member of two research groups, Gevac/UFSCar and Polcrim/Unicamp, collaborate with the editorial board of Contemporânea, a Sociology journal at UFSCar, and have teaching experience, having lectured on subjects such as Introduction to General Sociology for health-related courses.
