I am currently enrolled as a Ph.D. candidate in the Pharmacology program at the University of São Paulo (USP), where I am conducting research on the project entitled "Study on the involvement of the enteric microbiota in the effects of CBD treatment mediated by the modulatory activity of Regulatory T Lymphocytes on microglia in an autism model" at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP), under the guidance of Dr. Francisco Silveira Guimarães. I hold a master's degree in Mental Health from FMRP, where I was mentored by Dr. Frederico Rogério Ferreira, focusing on the investigation of the Brain-Gut-Microbiota axis in neurodevelopment. Additionally, I have a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Biotechnology, obtained from the Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ). From 2017 to 2021, I engaged in Scientific Initiation activities at the Oswaldo Cruz Institute (IOC - FIOCRUZ), under the guidance of Dr. Frederico Rogério Ferreira, conducting research on the Brain-Gut-Microbiota axis and the neurobiology of stress.
