Jakeline de Oliveira Carvalho

Undergraduate student in Biomedical Sciences at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). Currently conducting Scientific Initiation research at the Endocrine Pancreas and Metabolism Laboratory, part of the OCRC CEPID (Research Center for Obesity and Comorbidities), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Everardo Magalhães Carneiro. Her research focuses on hepatic metabolism, specifically on the characterization of the #945;5#946;1 integrin receptor under amino acid restriction, exploring its role in the context of protein undernutrition in humans. Completed high school integrated with a technical course in Mechatronics at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP), Guarulhos campus. During the technical program, participated in projects involving Arduino-based systems for automation and sensor integration, programming in C and C++, and development of applied electronic circuits.
