Isadora Mafra de Oliveira

PhD and Master in Cell Biology and Bachelor in Biological Sciences, with experience in cellular and molecular biology. She completed her master's degree in the Inflammatory Genes Laboratory of the Cell Biology Department at UFMG, under the guidance of Dr. Aristóbolo Mendes, studying gene regulation and the functions of the GEF protein RasGEF1b. In this same laboratory, she did a scientific initiation for 4 years, where she worked on different research projects. In 2024, she completed her doctorate at the University of São Paulo (USP) in the area of #8203;#8203;cellular biology and immunology, under the guidance of Dr. Dario Zamboni, studying the role of inflammasomes in the response against Leishmania infantum infection. During her undergraduate studies, she studied for a year at Georgetown University (Washington DC, USA).
