Patricia Maissa Ferragoni da Cruz

Master's and PhD Researcher in Territorial Planning and Management (Major Area: Applied Social Sciences, Area: Urban and Regional Planning), from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC). Graduated in Science and Technology and in Environmental and Urban Engineering from the same university. Her research is linked to the perception of transformations in the territory, through theoretical resources and geoprocessing analysis (QGIS). In recent years, she has focused on the study of rural planning, rural-urban and metropolitan rural relations. During the pandemic, she was an assistant researcher on the project Collective Action Real Food: Learning in Times of Pandemic. She is interested in research on territorial transformations, environmental justice, management and recovery of forests (and environmentally sensitive areas), rural planning, metropolitan rural, production of quality food (organic and agroecological) and food security and sovereignty. She studied at the University of Algarve in Portugal, in a sandwich degree as part of the CNPq Science Without Borders Program. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
