Otávio Simões Girotto

Student of Medicine at the University of Marília (UNIMAR). He served as a member of the Academic League of Workers' Health (LAST) and the Academic League of Clinical and Surgical Anatomy (LAACC) in 2021, as well as the Academic League of Otorhinolaryngology (LORL) between 2021 and 2024, the Academic League of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology (LAFCT) from 2023 to 2024 and the Academic League of Cardiovascular Surgery (LACCV) in 2024. He held the position of Local Director of Publication, Research and Extension (LPR-D) of IFMSA-Brazil UNIMAR in the years 2022 and 2023. He participated in a university extension program through a supervised practical internship at the Directorate of Teaching, Research and Extension, focusing on the production of clinical bulletins at the Hospital Beneficente UNIMAR (HBU) in 2021. In addition, he carried out an observational internship in the area of Cardiovascular Surgery at HBU between 2023 and 2025. Additionally, he held the Presidency of the Academic League of Human Morphology (LAMH), served as Scientific Director of LAFCT and was a member of the scientific committee of the XVI Congress of Academic Leagues of Medicine of the University of Marília (XVI COLIMED) in 2024. He has experience in Cardiovascular Surgery, having completed internships at HBU (2023-2025), at the Irmandade Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Marília, at the Heart Institute of the Hospital das Clínicas of the Faculty of Medicine of USP (INCOR-HCFMUSP) and at the Dante Pazzanese Institute of Cardiology (SP) in 2025.
