Currently a FAPESP-funded Postdoctoral Researcher in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence applied to IoT mobility in mmWave networks, focusing on beam tracking and LOS/NLOS transition prediction for 5G and 6G networks. Has over a decade of professional experience in international companies, working at the intersection of science, industry, and business, with a strong track record of bridging academic research with practical applications in the industrial sector. In this research project, we will develop a software framework for the automatic generation of device mobility scenarios and patterns, as well as the execution of simulations, the collection of generated data and the application of ML/AI techniques in the beam selection in millimeter wave networks and corresponding performance assessments.
