Dario Scott

Graduated in Mathematics from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (2007), Master in Applied Computing from the University of Vale do Rio dos Sinos (2010) and PhD in Demography from the State University of Campinas (2020). Developed the NACAOB software, a program for collecting and standardizing information from parish records and / or other nominative sources. He coordinates the technical management of the NACAOB database, of the Project Beyond the Center-South, for a history of the Portuguese-Brazilian population from the extremes of Portuguese domains in America, which brings together researchers from several Brazilian universities. Has experience in the area of Demography, with emphasis on Historical Demography, acting mainly on the following themes: methodology, historical sources, historical demography, population and database.
