I have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences (2016) and a Master's degree in Parasite Biology (2019), both from the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS). I have a PhD in Applied Microbiology and Parasitology from the Fluminense Federal University (UFF) with an year period at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), London, England. I am currently a post-doctor at the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo (ICB-USP), focusing on studying human genes involved in malaria susceptibility using third-generation sequencing technologies (Oxford Nanopore Technologies). I am interested in Molecular Genetics, Parasitology, Virology, Immunology and Bioinformatics, with experience in the genetics of arboviruses, enteric viruses and protozoa.
