Master in Animal Biology from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), having investigated macroevolutionary patterns in Spinosauridae. Graduated in Biological Sciences from the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG). Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow (FAPESP #2024/08798-6) at the Federal University of São Carlos (DEBE/UFSCar), developing research in the areas of paleoecology and paleoichnology, anatomy, taxonomy/systematics, myology and locomotion with an emphasis on Theropoda.
