Rafael Tiezzi's degree in Environmental Engineering from UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho (2006), post graduate in Environmental Assessment by Prominp / UNICAMP / Petrobrás and Master in Energy Planning at the Department of Energy at UNICAMP in the area of #8203;#8203;climate change and hydropower resources. He was a researcher at the Institute for Technological Research of São Paulo (IPT) at the Laboratory of Water Resources and Geoenvironmental Assessments (LABGEO-CETAE). Currently he is hydrology analyst at the National Center for Monitoring and Warning of Natural Disasters (Cemaden) of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) in Brazil, Ph.D candidate. in Water Resources, Energy and Environment at the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Unicamp, where works with hydro-climatological impacts on risks of energy supply of the SIN.
