Anthropologist and Sociology Professor. Ph.D. candidate in Social Sciences at the State University of Campinas (PPGCS - UNICAMP). Holds a Masters degree in Anthropology and a Bachelors degree in Social Sciences (with teaching certification) from the Federal University of Piauí (PPGAnt/DCIES - UFPI). As an undergraduate, he was a scholarship recipient and/or volunteer in the following programs: Voluntary Scientific Initiation (ICV); Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program (PIBID); Multicultural Activities Incentive Scholarship (BIAMA). During his Masters, his dissertation received an honorable mention in the UFPI Award for Theses and Dissertations (Humanities Division). With professional experience as a basic education teacher and as a specialized technical advisor for a Womens Policy Organization (OPM), he is an active member of the following research groups: Research Group in Anthropology, Politics, and Economics (GAPE/UFPI); Study Group on Disability, Society, and Culture (GEDESC/Unipampa); Research Group on Demography of Childhood and Youth (UNICAMP); Cóccix - Interdisciplinary Studies on Body and Territory (CÓCCIX-USP). His research interests lie at the intersection of Anthropology and Sociology, focusing on: family and gender; disability; sexualities; childhood; everyday life sociology and education.
