Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas (FFLCH)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I am currently developing a Post-doctoral research in History at the University of São Paulo (USP), associated with the Project "A Connected History of the Middle Ages: Communication and Circulation from the Mediterranean", as a FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation) scholar. I have a bachelors and a licentiates degree, a masters, and a Ph.D. in History by the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). My research experience on Medieval History is especially concentrated on the Order of Friars Preachers, late medieval sermon and preaching, and the thirteenth- and fourteenth-century Italian communes. I have worked as Substitute/Assistance Professor of Medieval History at the History Department of the UFMG; as a researcher at the Laboratório de Estudos Medievais at UFMG (LEME-UFMG); and since 2021 I held the position of Cultural/History Analyst at the Museu Municipal de Uberlândia (MMU - Municipal Museum of Uberlândia).
