Victor Nascimento Rocha

Biomedical graduate from the Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz (UESC), specialized in Teaching and Research in Psychobiology, as well as Teaching and Research in Pharmacology.Engaged in Undergraduate Research as a scholarship holder at UESC in 2018, FAPESB in 2020, and CNPq in 2022, with additional voluntary participation in 2021. All projects focused on Neuropsychopharmacology: the first emphasizing anxiety, depression, memory, and microbiology of psychobiotic bacteria; the second on ethanol use disorder; the third on benzodiazepines; and the fourth on hallucinogens. All projects were conducted at the Laboratório de Farmacologia Comportamental e Fisiologia Experimental and partially at the Laboratório de Microbiologia Aplicada à Agroindústria in the first year (2018), both in UESC.Served as vice-president of the Renée Albagli Academic Center for Biomedicine and as a student representative in the collegiate body from 2018 to 2020. Also worked as a professor-assitant for the Emergency Medicine and Genetics disciplines in 2019.Completed internship for certification in Psicobiology at the Laboratório de Sono em Ratos of the Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), focusing on sleep medicine and biology. And completed the internship for certification in Farmacology at the Laboratório de Neurociência Comportamental, also at UNIFESP, with a focus on Substance Use Disorder, particularly for alcohol and cocaine.Possesses experience in Pre-Clinical Research; Farmacology, with an area of concentration in Psychopharmacology of Substance Use Disorders; Psychobiology of sleep; and Microbiology, with a concentration in Psychobiotics.
