I am a Physics student at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. During the period from January 2023 to October 2023, I was a Fapemig Scientific Initiation scholarship holder at UFMG in the Department of Statistics, in the area of Computational Statistics. I conducted a numerical and stochastic analysis of the Predator-Prey problem. Using numerical methods and libraries such as numpy and matplotlib, I studied the Lotka-Volterra equations and, through Agent-Based Modeling, created a stochastic model to simulate the interactions between predator and prey. It was possible to show that both analyses converged. During the period of 10/2023-11/2024 I was a CNPq Scientific Initiation scholarship holder at the Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (CBPF) in the area of Quantum Computing, studying, the implementation of error mitigation methods with Qiskit.
