Ahmed Mohammed Nor, a telecommunication engineer and researcher specializing in next-generation wireless networks, including 5G and 6G, reconfigurable intelligent surface, mmWave, terahertz communication, and positioning based technologies. Recently, in Sept. 2024, pursued a Ph.D. in Telecommunication at NUSTPB, Bucharest, Romania. In 2019 and 2016, I gained the Masters and bachelors degrees, respectively. With extensive experience as a researcher on the EU-funded MOTOR5G project and LTE/Wi-Fi/WiGig for 5G Networks project funded by NTRA, I have contributed to innovative solutions in beamforming, positioning systems, radio resource allocation and AI-driven communication algorithms. An accomplished academic, I have published widely in leading journals with Q1 and Q2 rank (total 10 articles), e.g., IEEE Open Jorunal of the Communication Society, IEEE Access, Sensors, Ad Hoc Networks, and prestige conferences (total 17 papers) such as GlobComm 2017, WPMC 2022, BlackSeaComm 2022 and 2023, MeditComm 2024, addressing key challenges in modern telecommunications. Although the recent of my publications, they granted 171 citations and 7 h-index (according to Google Scholar), 140 citations and 6 h-index (according to Scopus), and 30 citations and 4 h-index (according to Web of Science). I am proficient in programming languages like MATLAB and Python, and skilled in network simulation tools such as THz software and NetSim. I am serving as a reviewer in some journals, e.g., IEEE Transaction in Vehicular Technology, Ad Hoc Networks, Wireless Personal Communication, and Future Generation Computer Systems. Also, I co-thought several courses for undergraduate, e.g., digital and wireless communication, communication networks, digital signal processing, signal and systems, and Mobile Systems and Programming for Wireless Networks, in Egypt and Romania, which cover more than 2000 hours over the last 8 years. Moreover, I co-supervised 10 undergraduate students in their final year graduation project. Beside the technical merits, I have some leadership and collaboration skills which I use for volunteering and participating the community activities. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
