PhD in Nanosciences and Advanced Materials (2022) with a sandwich period at the University of Bradford (2022, Erasmus+ Scholarship, European Union) and Master's degree (2018) in the same field from the Federal University of ABC. Graduated in Science and Technology (2016) from the Federal University of ABC, with a sandwich period at the University of Idaho (Idaho, USA/2014-2015) and in Materials Engineering (2015-01/2020) also from UFABC. Has undergone scientific training at the Biomaterials Engineering Lab at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University (2015) and at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Tampere University (Finland, 2020). His research lines include: (i) biomaterials for tissue engineering applications, particularly in bone regeneration; (ii) cancer treatment through magnetic hyperthermia, brachytherapy, and bisphosphonates; (iii) controlled drug release technologies using hydrogels; (iv) treatment of dentin hypersensitivity; (v) machine learning applied to infrared spectroscopy for diagnostic purposes. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor in Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Program at the Israelita School of Health Sciences "Albert Einstein" where he is engaged in teaching and research activities. He is a member of the Brazilian Association of Black Researchers and the Brazilian Society of Materials Research. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
