Graduated in Philosophy (2002) from Assunção/UniFAI, masters (2006) and doctorate (2014) in Sciences of Religion from the Methodist University of São Paulo (UMESP), with a doctoral research internship at CEIFR at EHESS/Paris-France (Program CAPES-PDSE). He received an Honorable Mention from the Capes de Tese Award in the area of #8203;#8203;Philosophy/Religion. He carried out post-doctoral research (2018-2019) at the Center détudes en sciences sociales du religieux at École des hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, in Paris, under the supervision of Michael Löwy. He was a researcher in the Graduate Program in Education at UNIMEP (2015-2020). He is a professor and advisor for master's and doctoral degrees in the Graduate Program in Education at Universidade São Francisco USF. He has collaborated as an advisor to CELAM (Bogotá) and leads the Network Capitalism as Religion involving researchers from different countries. Member of the following scientific associations: SOFIE Society for the Philosophy of Education. Afyl Association Philosophy and Liberation. Gt 17 of the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Education (ANPED). GT Philosophy of Liberation and Latin America of the National Association of Graduate Studies in Philosophy (ANPOF). ST 5 Capitalism as Religion of the National Association of Graduate Studies in Theology and Sciences of Religion (ANPTECRE). He leads the CNPQ research groups Fetishism and Education; Education and Religion; Capitalism as a Religion. Member of the research group Critical Theory and Education. Research with a philosophical approach to Latin American critical thinking, especially from divergent and alternative epistemologies, studying the themes: theory of fetishism, mythical-theological dimension of thought, anti-capitalist perspectives in education, conceptions of teaching philosophy, Christianity of liberation and philosophical foundations of popular struggles for human rights, consumer society, and social and climate justice.
