Graduated in Industrial Chemistry from Universidade Vale do Rio Doce - UNIVALE in 2002, in 2008, he obtained a master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais - UFMG, in 2012 he obtained a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the State University from Campinas. He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Viçosa-UFV. He has experience in the field of Chemistry, with an emphasis on physical chemistry, working in the area of chemical processes and informatics and in the mining and pulp and paper production sector. Currently, he develops his research in the area of use of agro-industrial residues with the objective of producing new materials and energy.
