Lara Vilela Vitarelli

Master's researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp). She is involved in the Architecture, Technology and City research line of the Postgraduate Program (PPG FECFAU) under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Maria Gabriela Caffarena Celani. She is a researcher at the Centre for Studies on Urbanization for Knowledge and Innovation (CEUCI), of the same educational institution. Her master's research project is entitled Adapting second-generation technology parks to new innovation models: the case of São José dos Campos. The master's research received funding from CAPES from March to December 2024, after which it was funded by FAPESP. Guest researcher at the research group Laboratório da Paisagem (LAPASA FAU UFJF) where she has been a member of the study group Polissemia da Paisagem (FAU UFJF) since 2018. She graduated as an architect and urban planner from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (MG) in 2023. She worked as a volunteer and later as a scholarship holder on the Professional Training project: The use of physical and digital media in understanding descriptive geometry applied to architecture. She participated as a scholarship holder in the artistic initiation project: Living Architecture, the Senses of Matter. She collaborated on the Scientific Initiation project: The landscape of Minas Gerais: foundations for understanding it. She was a scholarship holder on the Scientific Initiation projects: Juiz de Fora: studies on the relationship between the elderly and the city and Paisagem das Minas: a study of the eighteenth-century urban territory as a system. She was a volunteer tutor for the subjects: History and Theory of Architecture and Urbanism VI - Brazil, History and Theory of Architecture and Urbanism IV - first half of the 20th century and Architecture and Urbanism Project VI. She was a member of the ID Research Group: Ageing, Accessibility and Place and the Urban Planning Study Group (GEPLAN) of the Landscape Laboratory (LAPASA) at FAU UFJF. She also received a scholarship from the Architecture and Urbanism Tutorial Education Group (GET). She is interested in Territories of Innovation and Knowledge, Urban Planning, Urban Theory, Urban Morphology, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Urban and Historical Heritage, Design Theory and Phenomenology.
