Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology and is currently majoring in Biotechnology at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). He is a Volunteer Scientific Initiation Student at the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Cellular and Molecular Biology of Fungi at the same institution, under the guidance of Dr. Claudia Barbosa Ladeira de Campos, developing a project for structural evaluation and in silico assays of the protein phosphatase calcineurin from Paracoccidioides brasiliensis and its autoinhibitory domains. He was selected as an EVC scholarship holder for the Aristides Pacheco Leão Program to Stimulate Scientific Vocations, of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (ABC) in partnership with FAPESP, and is currently interning at the Immunothrombosis Laboratory (LIT) of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Eugenio Damaceno Hottz. During this period, he explored the effects of a calcineurin-inhibiting peptide, developed in the fellow's home laboratory, on the modulation of thromboinflammatory responses, with an emphasis on platelet-monocyte interactions. In addition, he works as an experienced Quality Control Technician in the Microbiology and Finished Product Chemistry Laboratory at Johnson Johnson MedTech Brasil. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
