She has a PhD in Computer Science in the area of #8203;#8203;Computer Vision (2023) from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics of the University of São Paulo (IME-USP), a Master's degree in Computer Science in the area of #8203;#8203;Image and Signal Processing (2003) from the Federal University from São Carlos (UFSCar) and a degree in Computer Science (2000) from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Computer Science with an emphasis on Digital Image Processing and Computer Vision, working on the following topics: Image Restoration, 3D Image Reconstruction, Image Compression, Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning e Deep Learning. She did recent research to apply CNN-based semantic segmentation neural networks to detect weeds in a mosaic of high spatial resolution images from unmanned aerial vehicles in agriculture.
