Finished her PhD on Mathematics and Informatics in november/2010 at the Université de Grenoble, France. Currently Associate Professor, level II, in the Mathematics Department at Universidade Federal do Ceará, Brazil. Visiting Professor between December 2021 and November 2022 at Universitá degli Studi di Firenze, Florence, Italy. Postdoctoral fellow between September 2015 and July 2016 at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (CWI), Amsterdam, Netherlands. Head of the Mathematics Department between 2013 and 2015. Received the L'Oreal Prize for Women in Science in 2014, in the area of Mathematics. Affiliated Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences (term 2021-2025). Between 2019 and 2021, she was a member of the Gender and Diversity Committee of the Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática (SBM) and Sociedade Brasileira de Matemática Aplicada e Computacional (SBMAC). Has experience in Combinatorics and Graph Theory, working mainly on the following topics: coloring and variants, computational complexity, temporal graphs.
