PhD in Hydraulics and Sanitation at São Carlos School of Engineering at the University of São Paulo (SCSE/USP). Kamila has a Masters degree from USP and a Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering and Sanitation from Federal Centre for Technological Education of Minas Gerais (CEFET-MG). She has experience in physical-chemical treatments of water and effluents, particularly using oxidative processes and photoreactions. As a postdoctoral researcher, she integrated the Environmental Biophotonics Laboratory at the Center for Research in Optics and Photonics (CePOF) of the São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC/USP) and also worked on a project based on photoinactivation using UV LEDs (LATAR, SCSE/USP). Currently, she is a postdoctoral fellow funded by São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) and is conducting research focused on combating the spread of antimicrobial resistance within the context of agricultural wastewater treatment.
