Rômulo Brênno Lopes Fróes

Pharmacist and Master of Health Sciences from the Federal University of Maranhão. Currently a Ph.D. student in the Graduate Program in Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, working on the research project "Investigation of the Biophysical and Signaling Aspects of Platelets Exposed to Glycated Collagen" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Renato Simões Gaspar at the Extracellular Matrix Laboratory (ECM Lab). Currently serves as a member of the Secretariat of the DOHaD Young Committee within the DOHaD Brazil Association. He was a Scientific Initiation student at the Experimental Physiology Laboratory (LEFISIO), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Antônio Marcus de Andrade Paes, where he participated in research lines such as "Microbiological characterization of the gut microbiota of rats with obesity induced by a high-sucrose diet," "Characterization of the reproductive profile of female rats exposed to a high-sucrose diet during pregnancy and lactation," and "Ovarian and reproductive profile of the offspring (females) of rats exposed to a high-sucrose diet during pregnancy and lactation." He was a member of the Academic League of Immuno-Pharmaco-Genetics, where he held positions as Director of Education and Director of Marketing, and a member of the Herbal Medicine Program Profa. Terezinha Rêgo. He was a founding member of the Academic League of Pharmacy in Primary Care, where he served as Director of Marketing and Communication. He has an interest in the fields of physiology, biochemistry, and pharmacology.
