Celina Cruz Mainardes

Dentist graduated from the State University of Ponta Grossa (UEPG). During her undergraduate studies, she demonstrated interest in the fields of Periodontics, Microbiology, Pathology, Surgery, and Collective Health. She played an active role at the university, including serving as assistant in the disciplines of Pre-Clinical Periodontics and Clinical Periodontics. Over a two-year period (20202022), she participated in extension projects linked to UEPG's Tooth Bank, with a focus on Collective Health. In 2023, she joined Project "Siso", concentrating on Surgery and collaborating in extension projects that provided care outside the university campus, serving communities in districts of the city of Ponta Grossa. She conducted research as part of her scientific initiation in Periodontics, exploring patients' perception of pain during scaling and root planing procedures. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Periodontics at São Paulo State University (UNESP) Araraquara School of Dentistry (FOAr), with an emphasis on Oral Pathology.
