I have a PhD in the Ecology and Conservation of Natural Resources program at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), with a sandwich period at the UMR AMAP - botAnique et Modélisation de l'Architecture des Plantes et des végétations(Montpellier, France) under the supervision of Dr. Imma Oliveras Menor. I work in Plant Ecology with a focus on Functional Ecology, Phylogenetics, and Remote Sensing. I also have interests related to ecosystem services and the resilience of plant communities, as well as the influence of climate change and land use intensification on the structuring of these communities. I hold a Master's degree in Ecology and a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF), with an 18-month sandwich period at Macquarie University (Australia) from 2013 to 2014 through the Science Without Borders (CAPES) program.
