Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, São Carlos School of Engineering (EESC/USP), funded by FAPESP (São Paulo Research Foundation). His current research involves the integration of Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) to provide frequency support ancillary services using deep reinforcement learning algorithms. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from EESC/USP, which included a visiting research period at the University of Strathclyde (UK). During his doctorate, his research focused on the intelligent control of microgrids, integration of energy storage systems, and distributed generation. He also holds a Master's degree (2021) and a Bachelor's degree (2018) in Electrical Engineering, both from EESC/USP. His research interests include intelligent systems applied to power systems, power system stability, smart grids, microgrids, and VPPs. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
