He is a doctoral student in music at USP, "Universidade de São Paulo", and holds a master's degree in Music Performance from UNESP - "Universidade Estadual Paulista 'Júlio de Mesquita Filho'". He studied guitar with Prof. Dr. Luciano Cesar de Morais e Silva, Prof. Dr. Gisela Gomes Pupo Nogueira, Prof. Dr. Luciano Hercílio Alves Souto and Prof. Dr. Paulo Cesar Martelli. During his undergraduate studies, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Maurício Funcia de Bonis, he developed a scientific initiation project entitled 'Structural Functions of Harmony according to Henri Pousseur', in which he received a scholarship from the Unesp Rectory.
