Cláudio Luiz Carvalho

Graduated in BS in Physics from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos (1986), MA in Applied Physics in Medicine and Biology at the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto Usp (1989) and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1999). Short Visit at Argonne National Laboratory and Post-Doctorate at Arizona State University. He is currently associate professor of the Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira. He has experience in Physics, with emphasis on Superconductivity, acting on the following topics: System BSCCO and MgB2, chemical processes, dip and spin coating, superconducting films, IR and x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, electrical and magnetic characterization. Started a new stage Post-Doctorate at University of California-Davis where he studied the thermochemistry of superconducting materials and loparites.
