Nina Ingrid Caputo Paschoal is a doctoral student in Art History at the Federal University of São Paulo, with a FAPESP scholarship. She holds a master's (2019), bachelor's, and teaching degree in History from PUC-SP (2015), and a technical degree in Museology from ETEC Pq. da Juventude (2012). She was a guestprofessor in the postgraduate course in Oriental Dance (FACSM and BRADANÇA).Worked for 10 years as an art educator in museums and exhibitions, in addition to teaching in elementary school. Her research focuses on contemporary history, and sheis a specialist in Orientalism,with a particular focus on artistic languages. She wasa founder and researcher at Hunna Coletivo - historians who dance, focused on research and scientific dissemination on Arab and Gypsy dance and cultures. In 2023, she wasaccepted into the Art and Power: Decolonizing Art History study project, funded by the Getty Foundation,through which she took a study trip to Italy, based at the Hertziana Library.
