Birthplace: Brazil

I got a bachelor's degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics with emphasis on Biomathematics and Numerical Analysis, a teaching degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Scientific Computing of the State University of Campinas. I am currently a student of the Ph.D. program in Applied Mathematics of the same institution. The subject of my Ph.D. research is the application of Distance Geometry Theory to find the 3D structure of protein molecules. During my graduation, I worked on a project of Scientific Initiation in the area of Biomathematics. In the Master's, I worked on the study of brain connectivity from functional magnetic resonance imaging and graph theory. I have interests in Complex Systems related to interdisciplinary problems. From 2011 to 2017 I participated in Community Projects related to the teaching of Mathematics. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
